The North Embarcadero Visionary Plan (NEVP) was a joint master planning process between the Port of San Diego, City of San Diego, and the Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC). The plan comprises of public infrastructure improvements that will join together the bay and downtown San Diego. Highlights of the plan include a grand entrance along Broadway (Broadway gateway statement, from the Santa Fe Depot west to the water), a 1.2 mile esplanade that will stretch along the waterfront with trails for walking and jogging, pier construction at Grape Street and North Harbor Drive, 1,770 trees, public art and recreational areas. J T Kruer & Co is very proud to have been a part of the multi-disciplinary team, designing and programming the North Embarcadero Waterfront.
